3. Subsection 1 of section 5 of
The Foul -Brood Act, as re-enacted by
section 4 of The Bee Diseases Act,
1920, is amended by striking out the
words "where' an infectious or contag-
ious, disease exists in an apiary, the
owner or ,possessor thereof", at the
eonnnencement thereof and substitnt-
mg-therefor the words "the owner or
possessor of an apiary", so that tho'
subsection will now read as follows:
(1) The owner or possessor of an
apiary/ shall not sell, barter, give.
away or remove AVM the • premise:,
any bees or Used apiary appliances
or apparatus • until he has secured a
certificate from the Provincial 'Apiar-
ist that such bees, used apiary appli-
ances or apparatus have been prop-
erly disinfected and are free from
disease.
4. This Mt shall come into force
on the day upon "which it receives the
Royal Assent.

Miss. M., Tomlinson of Weston Is
staying this week with her sister-in-
law, Mrs. F. G. Tomlinson, having
been called home on account of the
illness and death of her brother.
The many friends -in the village and
vicinity of Mr. Fredrick G. Tomlinson
were shocked to hear of his death,
which °cored in the Community Hos-
