The annual oonvention of, the Y, P
L. and S„ S. -for Goderich District was
held in Dungannon on' Thursetay, Oct.
30th. The Convention was a decided
sVtcess.' From most distant parts of
the district the attendance was quite
marked as •well- as local attendance.
The morning' session at 10 um. was
unusually *ell attanded. Rev, lIIr.
Banes, t,f . Auburn, opened with a
song service and prayer, after which
the meeting was in charge of thg
District President, Mr. F. S. ; Savange,
of Seaforth. The address on Sunday
schools froth a ' superintendent's-
standpoint, as given by Mr. G. M.
Elliott, of Goderich, was an exceed-
ingly interesting and . masterly ad-
dress, and was the cause of mucic fav-
orable comment diming the' discussion
which followed.
