where they will be the guests for
a time of Mr. Rodaway's sister,
Miss Lois 1 podaway, Hermosa
Beach, Mr. •Rodaway has been
contemplating some such a trip for
a long time ,but "found it hard to
leave hoarse while he was on the
farm. , Now his time is More his
own and this should prove to be a
}very pleasant little jaunt for lfoth
himself and wife.

LADY HONOURED
The choir of Turner's churchmet at
the home of 1VIr, and Mrs. ,Sari Whit-
wore on Thursday evening.; Oc-
tober 23rd, for their weekly practise
and took advantage of the occasion to
make a presentation to Miss Mildred
Young "a member of the choir prior
to'her marriage to 1111'. Kenneth Me_
Lean of Auburn. Mr. Lewis Telt-
butt gave a very ..,eulogistic and'ap
preciative address, expressing regret
at Miss Young's departure, and best
wishes for the future, and on behalf
of the choir, Miss ' Gladys Crich pre-
sented Miss Young with -a set of sit-
vex tleaspoons as a token of esteem
and hest wishes. Miss Young re-
plied appropriately, thanking the
members for their gift and kind ap-
preciation and good wishes. Brief
addresses were also given by Mr. A.
E. Matheson and Mr. S. Whitmore.
The remainder of the evening was
spent in games, music and singing,
and lunch was served' by the ladies.
The best wishes ' of iihe choir and
community for a happy and prosper-
ous married life go with the young';
