The family which he headed and the
community in which Im resided suffer-
ed a severe loss when, after but it
• short illness, James 11,,ItClymont of
Stanley township passed away at St.-
Joseph's hospital, London, on October
.2051. He was taken suddenly and
seriously ill end o.peration being
considered necessary was removed to
St. Jeseph's, where it was performed.
He did not react to the treatment,
however, but gradually sank.
The late" Mr. MCC1331n011t wee +born
on the farm on which he lived all hie
life, the comfortable homestead on
the Parr line. Re was a son of the
late William IVIcClynneet, one of the
early settlers in the section. He
had always taken a deep interest In
the welfare of the community, being
interested in "every good word Land
work," and was highly esteemed by
the whole community and more than
esteemed by those who were intimate-
ly associated with an. Ile was a
member and offiCial of Varna IVIetho-
dist church and an active worker.

and It. Stephenson. Interment was
made in Bayfield cemetery.
Those present from a distance for

JOS. Redmond, Salidusky, Mich., aed
Rev, T. W. Diehl', Port Burwell and
