Mr. James 'Connolly of Goderich
was here last week and sold the house
and lot belonging to the cheese fac-
tory lo.1\ r. M; 'Stock, who has been
occupying it. The factory building
is also nor sale.
•What might: have proved a very
serious 'accident happened on the
Hohnesville hill on Tuesday evening..,
Rev. James Hamilton, Mrs. Ham -
Mon and Mrs. Morrow were on their
way iroatt Exeter;• where they had
been attending the Presbytery and
Presbyterial meetings. When they
were pretty nearly up' the hill the
engine stalled and, the 'brakes not
being in very good working, order,
the car began ,hacking down and kept
going until it struck the fence at the
bottom of the embankment many feet]
deep.- Fortunately the car did not
tip and the ocdupants were unhurt.'
The fender Was bent and one wheel
wrenched off, which was all the dam-
age done to the car. ' Mr. Bert
Trewartha motored the party home
and later the car was towed to Gode-
rich for repairs. It was 'almost a
ninaculou e cape fur the Occupants
of this ear.

was here last week and sold the house
and lot belonging to the cheese fac-

occupying it. The factory building

serious 'accident happened on the
Hohnesville hill on Tuesday evening..,

been attending the Presbytery and
Presbyterial meetings. When they
were pretty nearly up' the hill the
engine stalled and, the 'brakes not
being in very good working, order,
the car began ,hacking down and kept
going until it struck the fence at the
bottom of the embankment many feet]
deep.- Fortunately the car did not
tip and the ocdupants were unhurt.'
The fender Was bent and one wheel
wrenched off, which was all the dam-
age done to the car. ' Mr. Bert
Trewartha motored the party home
and later the car was towed to Gode-
rich for repairs. It was 'almost a
