appointed president. Delegates were
also ehosen to attend the provincial
meeting to be held in Thenilton. Miss.
Bowey and Miss M, Swan are the

The regular meeting of the Chris-
tian 'Endeavor: Friday night was in
charge of Mie. Addison's 'Ghee' class,

societies, the subject being; "Resolved
that Motion Pieta -a Shows are move
harmful than Beneficial." The Y.
P.L. supported the affirmative and
the A.Y.P.A. the negative. After
hearing the arguments of both sides
the judges decided, that the negative
had won by two points.

gain after his recent illness.%
The Oranaemen -and their Tamales
and 'a few friends, held a social ,even-'
ing in their lodge room on the 4th,
concession fast Monday evening. The
first part of the evening was taken
up with progressive euchre, 'the' la;
dies' prize being won by Mrs. George
1VIonk, while Mr. WLI Chambers held
the winning. ticket for the gentlemen.
Mr. Harry Salkeld, was then called
to the chair and a splendid program
was enjoyed, Those taking part in-
cluded, instrumental music by Miss
TTIlla, and Mr. Fred and Ernie Bell,
selections by Master Arnold and Mise
Marion Porter, duets by Miss Dora
and Peter Harrison, violin selections
by Mr. and Mrs. Monk, and solos by
IVIr. Jahn Swantz, Miss 'Irma Bell,
Mrs. Monk -and' Miss Noble, teacher

and ideals of Orangism. 'A trim
