DIED IN WINNIPEG. - The Brussels Post Last week had the following: notice of the death of a former Citizen, who was an uncle of one of Clinton's citizens, Mr. W. A. Grant: "Word' was received in Brussels Saturday morning that J: R. Grant, a former ,well-known . resident, had passed away that utornipg at his home in Winnipeg, having been in failing health during the past sum- mer 'and .became so weak that ,Mrs. W. IT,. Kerr and A. M. Kay of Strat- forcl were sununooned West in Sep- tember, but he recovered for a short period. For many years he was associated with the Federal Life and also with their loan department in the West. The funeral was held on Tues- day afternoon, 'interment '.being made in the family plot in St. John's conte tery. He is survived by three daugh- ters and one son, Mrs. W. H. Kerr.
