Mrs. L E. Doherty, which took
place on Saturday. She was the

Mr. and Iif s. Melvin Clark of Goder
ich were in town on Friday. They
intended leaving '" yesterday for
Sacramento, Calif,, to spend the
winter,with a brother of the former,
whom Mr. Clark has not seen in
thirty years.
Mr. and Mrs. Emerson' Mitchell and;
Master AIbert ' of Windsor visited
the former•'s mother in town .this
week, having come up to attend
thefuneral of hiss brother-in-law,
the late Thomas Kyle of Kippers,_
which took place on Monday,
Mr. Victor Falconer arrived home
Saturday from Cheininis, Northern
Ontario, where he was engaged in
mining operations.

W. 0. convention as a delegate from
the London Road Club.
Mr, Oscar Tebbutt ha's been busy
with his truck hauling` grain for some
of the farmers to Henson.
Miss Viola Stelck, assistant mat-
ron at the County Moine, called on her
:parents, Ida. and Mrs. Andrew Priee
of Stanley, Who have lately moved to
the Sundercock farm, on: Saturday
last. -
Mr. 'Geo. Layton left' on Tuesday'
for Toronto to attend the U. F..0.
convention, Ile will also visit with
Hamilton friends before returning.
