ordered. it to be sent on to Confer-
ence.
Rev. Peter Bryce,-D.D., of Toronto,
gave a very fine address showing
how the church ; depended on the M.
& E. Fund for the successful carry-
ing on of it's ' various benevolent en
terprises.
Rev. W.'D. McDonald presented an
interim report of the state of the M.
& E. Fund in the Presbytery and also
gave the allooations'fer the year 1928.
The usual vote of 'thanks brought
one of the most successful meetings
of Presbytery to a close.

Henry Adams of the 8th concession of,
Hallett, in her,sixty-seventh year.

spent her entire life in this township.

and went to live on the eighth, where
she died.
She was a good wife, a true help-
meet, and'' a tender and loving moth..
er. Iler'passing..leaves a sad vacancy
in the: home circle.. She , is survived
,by a faniilj�. of seven; five daughters
and two sons. They aro- Elizabeth,:
Mrs Chas. Dexter ;'2minelia Ann, Mr's,
Joseph,Yungblutt,,and Christina May,
Mrs. Austin Dexter, ail of Constance.
Margaret 'Ellen' and Sarah 'Lillian at
home, Thos.B.' Adams of the 9th con-
cession and John at home:
Three sisters and one'-brhther also
survive; Mrs: W. 8. Crawford' of
Dauphin, Man., 1/78. John Stirling,
Pilot Mound,, .Man., Mrs. Matthew
Mains and,Mrs S. Woodman, Londe's-
boro and George Cockerline, Toronto.
Mrs. 'Adams was a member of the
United, forin.er Methodist, church,
L ondesobro, and a worker in the W,
M. S. She was . a home -loving wo-
nian, butalways ready to help any
one in time of need. During her 111- -
nOsO she was most patient and un-
complailung,
The funeral; took place from the
family" home on -Sunday afternoon to
the Union cemetery, Blyth. , The ser-
vices at house, and graveside -were
conducted by the Rev. John Button of
Florence, aicousin, assisted by -Rev.
B. SnelI,'Londesobro. The pallbearers
were: .William.IIesk, Chas. Josling,
Chas. • Weymouth, Thomas Dexter,
John Harvey and Alfred Radford.
1.. Mr, Button repeated the following
verses at the conclusion of his ad-
dress:.
"I cannot:"say, and I will not say
That she is dead, she 18 just away!.'
With a cheery smile and a wave of
the hand
She has wandered intsean unknown -
