the sixteenth on Saturday evening
last celebrated the 'twenty-fifth an-
niver`sary of their wedding; when a
number of their relatives were enter-
tained at their hospitable home. Mr.
and Mrs. McKnight, were married . at
Varna twenty-five years logo by the
Rev. Ti. A. 1V iller, a minister of the
Methodist Church,' who is now at Cot-
ton'. Mrs, McKnight was formerly
Miss Emma Carter of Clinton. They
immediately took " up their residence
at the McKnight homestead on the
London road, where they continued to
retide until a couple of years ago,
when they left the honnesteadsto their
son and came to the• sixteenth, where
they had purchased the Leonard farm.

They are a popular couple, who : enter,

ich township died at Bannerman.
Man., on Nov. 17th, in the person of
Mrs. John Parker, aged 'seventy-five
tears and ten months, after a short
illness. She was at the residence of
her daughter,Mrs, Clara Carter,
