pleased with the bazaar which was
held on the pretty lawn at the home

they realized the nice sum of seventy-

and produce tables were cleared early
and many who had • hoped to make
purchases thee were disappointed,
The orchestra sdpplied music from
the neighboring borne of Mrs, Chas.
Toms, which was much appreciated,
For a time rain threatened to spoil
the event but after a -few drops ;had
fallen it cleared up and the weather
was quite: fine.

on Friday morning on a motor trip
to Ridgeway, . where they will visit
her daughter, Mrs. Ephriam Howes.

three diiughters and two sons survive.
The funeral services on Wednesday,
were conducted by Rev. 14 Ir: McLaugh-
lin of Stratford, were largely attend-
ed, Interment took place in the Mait-
land Bank Cemetery.

Celebration happened Monday morn-,
ing when Robert Groves, twelve-year-
oldson of Mr. and Mrs. C. E.'Grovee,
Goderich township, received slight in-
juries on the -.'ace and a severe shak-
ing up while taking part in the boy's
'races;, The young lad was in the
bicyclb race and was going at a good
speed, when in some unknown man -
nen the vehicle upset and he was
thrown over the handle bars head-
first. When picked up he was .unco;n-

whero he was attended by Dr: Hunter..
