"Nile occurred on Saturday night and
the funeral took place on Tuesday at

Mr. and Mrs, Wilson of Detroit,
.former neighbors showed their ap-
preciation in a very -tangible way by
presenting a lovely silver clock. Mr.
Wilson spoke very feelingly on past
memories, ' memories which lie and
Mrs. Wilson shall never forget in
connection with a close intimacy with
Mr. and 1VIrs. Switzer.
• Mr. Fred Elliott gave a very stir-
ring address and recitation, patriotic
songs, games and races were very
much enjoyed.
At five o'clock ice cream, Ionian-
ade and that ever memorable wedding
cake played an, active part in the pro-
gram.

Mr. Switzer in a• few well-ehosen
words exiressed his gratitude to all

Mr. Switzer's ancestors were Unit-
ed Empire Loyalists and 'suffered
great hardships, their wealth and
property being. confiscated when they
refused to leaye the Empire and
throw in their lot with the revolu-
tionists, Their families came over to
Canada and were amcingst the earliest
pioneers.
Misses Alice and Mabel Corey,
accompanied by Mist Eva Brenner
and Miss Florie Wood, all of Paris,
spent the week -end with the former's
parents, Mr. and 1VIrs. H. Corey. •
