Ail aciaalist has z`i.cently estunate:a
that there are 24,659 'birthdays in
Canada daily, Few indeed, there are
in that number who would not_apprec-
iate being reniernbered by -their
friends, even if only a post card with
a pleasing picture and 'a good wish
,vas the medium of _expression. What
a wealth of sentiment these happy re-
membrances
e-vni:mnances contain. Often the re-
gard which they convey is more pre-
cious than that of larger and more
costly ;;Pts, The significance of
these cards or folders is the living
remembrance which they bring, many
are artful and talented writers and
ideie-men have composed the inscrip-
tions. Greeting cards for birthday or
other occasion is the 'refined expres-
sion of the great -heart of humanity
and the friendly relations ,of' men' and
women; just one example of this wait
officer of the Boy, Scouts in Torotto
last Christmas received 813 cards.
Quite a -record to have the friendship
and interest of so many boys, and to
have them expressed by cards. 'If
you have the friend to remember we
have the cords for mdny occasions.
