and. took away a melt loved and re-
spected resident,.it the person of Mrs.
M, 'A •Munro,-wi4lew of the late Mr.
D. R. Munro, Althoughfailingfor
some time, an Illitess• of two weeks
caused by an acute attack of heart
trouble soon ended a precious, life...
Mrs„Munro itad occupied an import-
ant' position, assisted by her son,
Ralph, as postmistress,` of Auburn.
Her ]kindly word and smile as she
carefully sought 'to do, her duty will
be missed by hermany friends.
Very early in life Mrs. Munro, for-
merly Maria A. Blair, gave her heart
to God and throughout her life, led a
consisteralt'Chlistian life. She was a
tile -member of tIle W;.(M, S. of Knox
United Churclt, where the farewell
services were .held at 1:80 Tuesday'
afternoon, Jan. 1.8th, The church was
filled to capacity Sand Rev. W. It. Alp
paid pleasing tribute tothe departed,

was laid to rest in Maitland cemetery,
