Ma's.Charles Switzer and children, who have {leen visiting the lady's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthus' Cur- rie, have returned to 'their home in •• Stanley township. Mr. and 1Mvs. A. T. Cooper were in Toronto for a couple of days last week, going clown -to meet the former's brother, Mr. Ernest• Cooper of London, England, who ran over from New York for a clay., Miss Margaret Davies, who spent a' intown, left her horns ow a t 'fortnight, t Saturday to .resume •her duties, as deaconness in •a large church in Chicago. Miss Davies remained longer than she intended on ac- count of c-count:of the illness of her father, but Mr. Davies is now on the mend, we are glad to say. Mr. Walgate Tebbutt of Druid, Sask., who cause east, accompanied by Mrs. Tebbutt, a -couple of weeks ago, has been visiting his sister,. Mrs. Walken, of ,town this weeli, also relatives in Goderieh town- ship. Mrs. Tebbutt is visiting hex., mother in Godeiich and they will remain another few weeks before returning to their western hone. -Mr, S. Eagleson of Milton, North Da- kota,. who is visiting relatives at Bayfield, his old home, was in town on Monday and gave The News -Record a call.
