her sisters, Mrs. N. Fitzsimons,
Mrs- M. T. Corless and Mrs. Eliza-
beth Kennedy, in town this week.
Mr. Percy Currie returned on Satur=
clay to Chicago, after spending the
holiday,period at the home of his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Currie,
Mrs. McFadden, who has been visit-
ing her mother, Mrs. James Corn-
ish of town, for the past fortnight
or so, has returned to her hone at
',Cookstown.
Ma's.Charles Switzer and children,
who have {leen visiting the lady's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthus' Cur-
rie, have returned to 'their home in

deaconness in •a large church in
Chicago. Miss Davies remained
longer than she intended on ac-

but Mr. Davies is now on the mend,
we are glad to say.
Mr. Walgate Tebbutt of Druid, Sask.,
who cause east, accompanied by
Mrs. Tebbutt, a -couple of weeks
ago, has been visiting his sister,.
Mrs. Walken, of ,town this weeli,
also relatives in Goderieh town-
ship. Mrs. Tebbutt is visiting hex.,
mother in Godeiich and they will
remain another few weeks before
returning to their western hone.
-Mr, S. Eagleson of Milton, North Da-
kota,. who is visiting relatives at
Bayfield, his old home, was in
town on Monday and gave The
News -Record a call. It is .over
thirty years since •Mr, Eagleson
went west but he has made fre-
quent trips home and he takes 'The -
'News -Record to keep himself post-
ed as to how things are progress-
ing in the old home locality.

Mrs, O'Brien and son Darr' of the
West were in Chatham over the week-
end. 'Harry was, called to his hoine
in Alberta on Tuesday owing to the
illness of his wife, after only a two
weeks' visit,
