SEAFORTH: The funeral of Mrs.
James Weir, an old and esteemed
resident of Seaforth, and widow of
James Weir, for a number of years
proprietor of the Royal Hotel, whose
death occurred at the home of her
daughter, in Ardmore, Pa., on Decem-
ber 23, after art iliffess of two months,
took place on Monday afternoon from
St. Thomas' chtirch to the Egmond-
ville cemetery, The service -was con-
ducted by Rev, T. H. Brown. The de-
ceased was a daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Kennard, of Brucefield. The
remains were accompanied by her
daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Gerald Case, of Ardmore and
Mrs. Lorne Weir, of Buffalo. The
pallbearers were H. Edge, W. Adams,
A. A. McLennan and, T. Beattie,
