The funeral ,of the late Mrs. Rand
was held en Saturday afternoon from
the family' resideneo, the Rev. J. 13.

Mrs, Rand, whose naiden'name was_

in England. 'She came to Canada as
a. young girl, 'with other members of.

and Mrs. Joshua Henwooth She was.
married to Mr, -Rand abbut forty.
years ago and had spent practically
all her life here.' She is survived by
a:son who resides at iVicQuarrie, Man.,
and two daughters, Mrar Frpniss and
Miss Lillian Rand,, lioth at home. One
sister survives, Wks. Fanny Oliver,
also of Clinton. •
Mrs. Rand had been iii delicate'
health for some years but her death
occurred rather, suddenly .after•,hav-
ing abate teeth extracted on Wednes-
day morning of last week. .:

boy, on Thursday eeee hag last, when
he died in his car(while on his way

and he left the warehouse about seven
o'clock on this evening_ for his home,
Next morning he was discovered in
his ear dead, The cause of death was
found to •be paralysis. -
