TEACHERS MEET IN GODERICH
The West .Huron Teachers' Con-
vention will be held in Goderieh on
Oct 14th •and 15th. At the last Con
vention it -was proposed to visit the
Windsor Schools this year to see the
"Rotary System" in operation but
owing to the ruling of the Depart-
ment regarding the use of as
cunvuleted funds, the Executive
thought it better to wait for another
year in order to discuss -the matter
more ft3lly.
GIVING, UP; BUSINESS
The Clinton branch of the Dominion
Stores, which has been operated for,
several year=s, is tobe elosed'the last
Saturday in this inonth. Mr. A. Mc-
Einnon,;manager, will take charge of
a store at Windsor and leaves for that
Town shortly.
-Mr. and ,Mrs. lstcKinnon, who have
ben residents in Clinton' for the past
two years, will' be nmissed.by them
friends here, but they will hale their
goad wishes for continued prosperity,
in their new home. -
