lecture on "The Beautification of
Home Surroundings" by Mr. Moore
of Toronto, under the auspices -of the
Horticultural Society. There will be
good music, too, and all may enjoy
the lantern slides. Brucefield Soc-
iety met last Thursday evening for
a formers organization by Mr. Hartry
and all officers were re-elected except
for the interchanging of president

energetic secretary, gave very in-
structive talks, the latter advocating

store. Refreshments were served and
the rest of the evening was spent in
