Toronto are home for a vacation

Bawden, who has been and is still'

Mrs. Owen Savage and little daugh-
ter, Marie, left for their home in
Rochester, N.Y., on Saturday after
spending the winter with the •lady's
mother, Mrs. S. G. Castle.

of •Ottawa and Mr. J. E. Shepherd
of Toronto" have been here this
week owing i'to the illness of their

Mr. and Mrs..5. Rogers of Edmonton,.
Alta; are visiting the Cantelon and
Cook families in town and vicinity.
They have been visiting also in
Toronto, Mount Forest and, Goder-
ich. They intend leaving for home
in a couple of weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. John 'Vincent, who are
spending the winter in Toronto,
were week=end guests with Rev.a
A. and Mrs. Holmes at Wesley par-
sonage. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent were
former parishioners and personal
friends of Mr. and Mrs. Holmes in
Newfoundland.

let, $10.; 2nd, $7.; 3rd, $5.; 4th, $3.
Special prizes will also be given of
$5.00 each for the oldest fiddler, the
youngest fiddlers and the fiddler coin-
ing the greatest distance.
RULES
1. Open to Counties of Bruce, Hur-
on and Perth.
2. Each contestant to play two se-
lections, one selected by committee
and the other by contestant.
3. No entry fee charged and $1:00
paid each contestant not receiving a
prize: Any or,. all contestants liable
for' service during dance.
4. Accompanist provided.
5. Judges award is final.
6. Committee in charge reserves
the right to make any additional rules
that may appear necessary.
7. Old time musie to be basis of
contest.
