DEATH CF JAS. MCCONNELL James McConnell, An old resident of Clinton, passed away at his home, Wellington street, on Friday last at the advanced age of einoty-two yeare and vine months. He had been in failing health for same •time. -4 Dr.e. McConnell was born in Tor- onto township, and educated at St. Michael's College, Toronto, but had been a resident for many yeare in Hullett, where lie farmed mita about fifteen years ago, when he retired and moved into Clinton, He was a man of quiet disposition and was very lad oe reading, a habit he kept up as long as health per- mitted.
