TORONTO, Ont,, Sept. 18 (CP)—
Remesentatives of 55 British Colon-
ies and protectorates, a collection
of 112 postage stamps have been pre-
sented to the Royal Ontario Mu-
seum of Archaeology here by his
Majesty, the Ring. The gift was
made through the medium of Hon,
P. C. Larkin, Canadian High Com-
missioner in London. For many
years His Majesty has been one of
the world's greatest stamp collec-
tors.
The collection is on view in the
museum. The museum's collection
was commenced by Paul Hahn.
An added touch of human interest
-is inherent in the gift from the fact
khat it must have been during his
illness or convalescence that the, re-
quest was made to the King by Mr.
Larkin.
The genesis apparently came
from the suggestion of Mr. Hahn to
Mr. Larkin that a present from the
King would be of great interest in
Toronto, emphasizing, his interna-
tionally -known hobby.
