Coderich Township
As a result of Monday's election
John R. Middle -Mil is reeve of Godes.-
ich township for 1929, having been
elected by a majority of 43 over Har-
ry L. Salkeld. The race was compat-
atively close, polling sub -division No,
3 giving the two candidates the same
number of votes. The funny part of
this was that in this ward there were
139 votes cast, 09 for each candidate
and one where the voter evidently
couldn't make ,up his inind so he
inarked his ballot for both candi-
dates. The result in detail:

and evening. Duing the afternoon
many found it a good place to pur-
chase Christmas gifts and, when they
grew weary in this interesting but
nevertheless wearing work, they
-were able to sit down and have n cup
of, afternoon tea and something td
eat with it. The grab box depart-
ment proved to be quite popular. A
supper was served at six o'clock, to
which a number came. The ladies
realized a profit of one hundred dol-
lar* by their venture.
Mr. S. Flewett is now using his
tractor to run a chopping mill in the
village, which is a convenience to far-
iners needing feed prepared.
