Middle -Mil is reeve of Godes.- ich township for 1929, having been elected by a majority of 43 over Har- ry L. Salkeld. The race was compat- atively close, polling sub -division No, 3 giving the two candidates the same number of votes. The funny part of this was that in this ward there were 139 votes cast, 09 for each candidate and one where the voter evidently couldn't make ,up his inind so he inarked his ballot for both candi- dates. The result in detail: Middleton • Salkeld No. 1 48 104 No. 4 92 No. 2 36 No, 3 69 71 139 20 No. 6 57 14 40 No. 6 59 551. 318 Majority for Middleton, 48. and evening.
