Sunray of the death of her uncle, Mr.
Chas. Burford of Winghain. The fun-
eral was held Tuesday by motor from
Winghatn to Paris.

Word was received Saturday morn-
ing of the death of Mrs. J. Webster
of Clinton. Mrs. Webster had lived'in
the Village here for several years,
going from here to Clinton, where,
she resided with her daughter, Mrs.
A. Vodden. She was in her 88th
year. Then on Sunday word carte of
the death of her son, James, of Tor-
onto. He had been ill with the flue
his twin brother, Joseph, was called
to Toronto Thursday, and he died Sat-
urday night. Much sympathy is ex-
tended to the brothers and sisters in
the loss of mother and brother.

The monthly meeting 'of the Wo-
men's Institute will be held in the

ings, Mrs. H. Riley and Mrs. R. Wells,

Mr, ' C. D, Cox is having a sale of
his farm stock and implements on
Friday and leaves almost immediately
with his wife and daughter for Nip-
pising, .,Parry Sound District, where
he will have charge of a mission field,
under the direction of the Home Mis-
sion Board; of the United Church of
Canada. It is ahn.ost entirely a rum-
bering district. and Mr. Cox's charge
will consist of five preaching points
and covers thirty miles of territory.
It is in' the North Bay Presbytery.
