The Institute Domestic Science
Course proved a' great success in
many, ways, forty-five enrolled with,
nine new members and an average
attendance of thirty-five. The actual
cooking•lessons kept 'up a•very keen
interest with numbers of -tested re-
cipes. Ori the closing afternoon Miss
Langton, the instructor, gave a table
setting demonstration, -along with
frozen Eesserts and a variety of fan-
cy sandwiches.: which were served to
eighty-two ladies ' as an afternoon
tea. and, under Miss L'angton's sup-
ervision; the girls• served in formal
style, with Miss, Barr end Mrs, Hall
as honoured guests. The afternoon
ulosed with a short address by Miss
•Brigham on behalf of the Class and
he Institute .and presented Miss
Langton: with a gift as a little ac-
knowledgement of their esteem for
