A successful dance was held in the
Forester's Hall . on Friday eveningP
under; the auspices of the- play-
grounds committee. -Tho music was
furnished by the Driver orchestra
of Gdderieh. William Watson acted
as. manager.
The annual Christmas concert of
Hnox- United Sunday school- wal
held ;in the church on Friday even-
ing. • The first part of the program

school. These were followed by a
musical pageant, "Seekers After
Cli:iatmas,n During the program an
oddiess wasgiven by Charles
Straughan, superintendent of the
school. Instead of the usual Christ-
mas tree, the gifts were distributed
from a large decorated pie.
