minimum of confusion Was experienc-
ed, also to 'Santa Clause and his
End Men 'and the principal and tea-
chers of the Clinton Public School
and the teachers of the surrounding
rural schools for their cq operation
in sending in the names of the chil.
dren in their. school sections and
assisting in • the 'organizing of the
parade, also to all those who assist-

•Christmas conceits have begun,
the pupils and teacher, Miss K. Mac-
Kenzie, of S. S. No. 1, staged their`
concert last Friday in the Township
Hail, Carlow. A . full' house greeted
the opening chorus, by the entire
school' of fifteen pupils, A. number
entitled "Topsy-Turvey" was given
by five little boys, which amused the
audience and as a surprise at the
finish of the number was a boot
salute. Recitations were given by
Charles Watson, 'Alice Nickolds, Dor-
othy Watson, French Martin, Har-
old Ashton, Edgar Stoll. Recitations
from Charlie .Watson and Charlie
'Tyndall expressing •0 wish that they

Christmas night. Francis Martin
gave a fine exhibition of club swing-
ing to acconpdiument of ,Miss Dor-
othy Robertson; a saxophone solo

leen Tyndall, Dorothy Watson, Ruth
Tyndall, Floreaee Ashton and Betty
Young gave the Highland Fling. Bet-
ty wore kilts and was the tiniest of the

by two ex -pupils, which- was encored.
A dialogue, "Hiring the Teacher,"
