FOOTBALL NOTES
The game between Tavistock and
Clinton Tuesday night restated in a 3
M 0 victory for Tavistock. The
score did not indicate the play as
both teams were very evenly match-
ed from start to finish. The most of
the scoring took place the latter Bart
of the first half, when Clinton was
facing the sun and it' -was very dif-
'cult to see the ball and the result
as that two goals were scored
which were not earned by the Tavi-
tock team.
The game was fast and elean, the
cys ,still are in a good position to
in a position for Play-offs for the
Intermediate cup.
It will help greatly- in making Clin-
on •a winning team to have the sup -
ort of citizens, so let's all turn out
e next game and show the boys and
e visiting team just how we can
upport our local team. The admis-
on is very small, there is a good
