Mgteh of the Royal Bank • staff, Midland, motored up and spent the week -end at his home in town, Mrs. Ogle Cooper, who had spent a few weeks with ktr. and MI's. A. J. Morrish of town, returned to her home in Toronto on Friday. Miss Florence Cuninghame motored Ito Fullerton and Kitchener last week, visiting Miss Baker at Ful- lerton and going on to Kitchener to purchase greenhouse stock. Rev. Dr, Archer Wallace, who was the special anniversary preacher at Ontario street United church on Sunday, was the guest while in town of Mr: and Mrs. William Walker. Mr, Robert King of Toronto was in town the "end of the week looking after business in connection with the estate of his father, the late .Walter King, He motored home on Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Annie Colclough and Mrs. Sar- ah Emmerton, Maple street, have returned after spending a week as the guests of the former's son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. A. Col- olough, Goderich township. Mr.. George Rance, who has just re- turned from a 'trip around the world, occupying four years, has been visiting his uncle, 'Col. 1.1. T. Ranee. Mr. Rance is connected with the news -picture business and was on business for his firm, He Is a son of Mr: Thomas Rance. Mrs. J. G. Steepe, Miss Aphrew Steep and Miss Rate Sheppard left Stratford Sunday evening for ^Sault Ste, Marie, Mieh., to attend the funeral of the ' former's broth- er, Benjamin Sheppard,' who died very suddenly on Saturday even- ing. Rev. A. A. Holmes, who has been spending the winter' in Toronto, came nu Thursday last with Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Hogg and spent a day or so in getting his house ready for occupation again. Ile returned to the city Saturday. He and Mi s. Holmes will return. short- ly for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cook were in Toronto last week, going down to be present when their son, Mr. Roy Cook; was graduated from the Bible School Mr. Cook is going, into the Baptist ministry and has already served as a student mission- ary for a summer or two.
