An Easter Cantata, "Palms of Vic-
tory,", will be given in Knox United
church on Good Friday evening, Ap-
ril 3rd, commencing at 8 o'clock, un, -
der the auspices of the young peo-
ple's society.
The funeral of the late Isabelle
Ruth Jackson, daughter 'of Dr. and
Mrs. John E. Jackson of Donalde,
Alta., took place from the hone of
Mr. John McPhee, Colborne town-
ship, on Tuesday afternoon, ,March
24th. Interment in Colborne ceme-
tery. Deceased had been ill just a
short time and was nine years old,
Rev. Mr. Shaw of Nile conductedthe
funeral services,
Robert McGee received word of the
death of his sister, Mrs. McLaughlin
in Goderich hospital, an Sunday last.
• Mr. Bob Adams of Toronto is vis-
iting with his brother here.
Lenten services in the Anglican
church were concluded on Wednes
day evening of this week, but there
will be a special service on the even-
ing of •Good Friday,
Mrs. W. T. Riddell had the misfor-
tune on Sunday, while sitting on a
chair in her home, to fall and re-
ceive a very severe shaking up. Her
friends hope she will soon be up and
around again. '
Mr. 3. J. Washington attended the
funeral of the late Jas. Anderson of
West Wawanosh on Monday.

tory,", will be given in Knox United
church on Good Friday evening, Ap-
ril 3rd, commencing at 8 o'clock, un, -
der the auspices of the young peo-
ple's society.
The funeral of the late Isabelle
Ruth Jackson, daughter 'of Dr. and
Mrs. John E. Jackson of Donalde,
Alta., took place from the hone of
Mr. John McPhee, Colborne town-
ship, on Tuesday afternoon, ,March
24th. Interment in Colborne ceme-
tery. Deceased had been ill just a
short time and was nine years old,
Rev. Mr. Shaw of Nile conductedthe
funeral services,
Robert McGee received word of the
death of his sister, Mrs. McLaughlin
in Goderich hospital, an Sunday last.

iting with his brother here.
Lenten services in the Anglican
church were concluded on Wednes
day evening of this week, but there
will be a special service on the even-
ing of •Good Friday,
Mrs. W. T. Riddell had the misfor-
tune on Sunday, while sitting on a
chair in her home, to fall and re-
ceive a very severe shaking up. Her
friends hope she will soon be up and
around again. '
Mr. 3. J. Washington attended the
funeral of the late Jas. Anderson of
West Wawanosh on Monday.
