eral of her nephew, Irwin Hagey
of Preston, on Friday last.
Mr. W. H. Hill of Kitchener was a

Mr. H. 13. Manning of the Doherty
Pianos staff has gone on a busi-
nese trip to Gardiner, Mass.
Miss Eva Carter of the Kitchener
Public schools staff spent the
week -end at her home in town.
Mrs. 'Wm. McClinchey and her
daughter, Miss B. McClinchey,
spent the week -end with relatives
in Detroit.
Mrs. Fred Sloinan and children have
returned to their home at Cape-
red after a visit of a week or so
with relatives here.

Sr. and Mrs. Chas. Kerr of Oak-
ville visited friends in Clinton this
week. Mr. Kerr is a son of the
late Rev. W'. E. Kerr, once pastor
of the Ontario street congregation.

in Vancouver, B.C., on Monday.
fShe and her husband have been
here for a couple of months owing
to the 'illness and death of Miss
Amy Howson. Mr. Howson is re-
maining to settle up the affairs of
his sister's estate.
ivflsa Elizabeth Lindsay, who has
been spending some weeks at the
home of her brother, Dr. Lindsay
of London, following an operation
in the Toronto General Hospital,
has returned home. ltss Lindsay
has quite regained her 'health, her
friends are glad to see.
r, and IVIrs, Nisbit Cook and Miss
Flynn motored up from Toronto on
Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Cook
intended staying for a week or so
but Mr. Cook started on .the
re-
turn journey to Toronto Sunday
but had to turn back on account of
.the storm and did not get through
until Monday
Dr. Shaw and Mr. H. E. Rorke were
M Stratford on Friday attending
the dedication ceremonies at the
new Maionie Temple, whidi was
followed by a banquet. Both • these
gentlemen are prominent in the
Order. Dr. Shaw being a right-wor-
shield and both being P.D.D.G.'
