Royal College of Surgeons of ling -
land on Dr. F. G. 'Ranting, surgeon
and Physician, Toronto, discoverer of
insulin, and Professor of the. Bent-
ing-Best Chair of Research, Univer-
sity of Toronto, by the •Council of
the Royal - ' College recently, the
'London Times editorially makes fav-
orable comanent and says Dr. Bast-
ing is 'the first Member of the Col-
lege ever thus ,honored. He has
been a member of the Royal Col-
lege for several years.
"The }honor,'," says The :Times, "is
'signal: no other member of the Col-
lege has everr before received it, but
the discoverer of insulin certainly
deserved up less at the hands -of
British. surgeons. 'Iriswork, as
Lord Moynihan ,points out, ,,has• • a
