Mr. D. Cantelon is in Toronto this
week, Last week Mr. Cantelon
took a trip as far east as Mon-
treal, returning Sunday, He was
looking up markets for; his apples.

Mr. Cantelon 'does a lot of trip-
ping about.
A $10,000 ENDOWMENT FOR THE
GODERICH HOSPITAL
A handsome donation from Mrs,
Miner, of Chazy, N.Y., of $10,000 to
form an endowment for the Goderich
hospital waits only the execution and
receipt of the papers.. The money
is to be invested and the interest
used first in the upkeep of the Miner
ward in the hospital and the balance
for general hospital purposes.

happened.
It attpears that one Lestef Green found a. setting of hen's eggs
in a block of ice. He cat out the eggs and put them in a pan on top
of his furnace to thaw out. Later an when he went to shake the
furnace he discovered eight Leghorn chicks hatched out.
