OF • INTEREST TO YOU
AND ME
The wife of a professor, proposes.
that that new planet just discovered
be named "Percival." It probably
• does not matter much what the -new'
planet is called but we'd suggest that
'it be given a name that will go with
lfars and Jupiter. We shouldn't call
•it either Percival or Clarence if wo
hacl the naming of it.
There bas been some talk of Que-
bec cheating Ontario out of a divorce
court, but from a survey of the votes
it looks as if Ontario members took
`the matter into their own hands,
Both Huron inombers'voted against
the establishment of a.divorte court
'and, judging from subsequent ew-.
eats, theywill do so again if the op-
-portunity presents itself.
'Clinton has seldom if ever had a
vis!
more interesting for than Dr.
' Tehyi Hsieh, whodelivered' a lecture
'in connection with the Canadian
`Chautauqua. FestivaF on Friday .eve-
ning ,last, who was given a banquet
by his •countrynien later in the eve- many

erever
made friends. wh he went, and

union service of ngregations of

ning.

the co
Dr. Hsieh is the son of a Confu
eianist father and a Buddist mother
' but is himself a Christian and in his
lecture on Friday night trade the
. stateinent that China is destined to
• beeome a Christian country; that
eighty per cent. of the present-day
' leaders are Christian. Dr. Hsieh. -is
s finished English scholar, having
been educated at Cambridge, and he
. bas a personality which wins for the
-subject which he is presenting the
whole -hearted sympathy of his lis-
' tenors. Ind has undertaken many
'diplomatic missions for his own
country and one cannot imagine a
• better man for such tasks. It is ser-
' dor, indeed, that a man of his ability
and personal charm ever finds his
way to the smaller centres in any
foreign country and those who had
the opportunity of hearing Dr:
- Hsieh's public addresses, •or better
still, meeting and conversing with
him, cannot .but have a kindlier feel-
ing toward China. He is an ambas-
sador of good -will in every country
'he visits. And while this is true he
- is first and foremost. a Chinese,
loyal to his country and his race.
' One can easily imagine what a
Pleasure it must be to the scattered
members of his race throughout Cau-
ada and the United States to meet
and converse with him as he visits
the various towns and villages. That
it may to some extent react in their
favor and make living in a foreign
• land a little less lonely for them is
an end to be wished.

the choir and led the • cing•ing in a
very capable mariner. On Monday
evening a Pancake Supper was pro-

COMFORT
VALUE.
LFIE new Durant 6-14 has such strikingAPPETIRANCE and is
so apparently. a COMFORTABLE car that it only requires a test
of its PERFORMANCE for one to fully realize its true VALUE.,
Admiration for its appearance is accounted for by its: attractive'
colors and general design .... a low -built oar with long, flowing
lines and spear -point decorative theme throughout. Large doors,
'wide scats, deep cushions and a surplusofinterior roominess
immediately suggest a sew standard of riding comfort.;
The merits of the new motor are best appreciated' when the 6-141
is in actual road performance. After you have seen this new'car,
ask your dealer to give you a demonstration in order that you may)
judge its new riding and driving qualities for yourself.(
