Christmas Ba- zaar and Tea in the basement of the Church on December 5. • Mrs, D, J. Lane received at the door. - Mrs. Sam; -Castle and Mrs. Elmer Murray were in charge of the baking sale and Mrs. Frank Mac- Donald and Mrs.. W. F. Cooke in charge of the novelty, booth, Tea tables were decorated with red candles and holly. 'Net proceeds amounted to $110. • • Election of Officer Legion Auxiliary Holds ' The regalar meeting of the Ladies' Legion Auxiliary was held Monday night in the Legion Hall. • Mrs. D. W. Service Held at Wesley -Willis White gift Sunday was observed by the Sunday School of Wesley Willis United Church on Sunday. The superintendent, John Nediger Jr., was in charge. Miss Betty Longman gave an in- teresting story about the real mean- ing of white gifts. At the front of the schoolroom a large basket was arranged, covered in white and when the presentation of White Gifts had been made this basket was filled to overflowing. These gifts will be sent to the needly, in other parts of the provinee. Miss Eileen Sutter was at the piano for the singing during the ser- vice. Rev. BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED' by the Corporation of The Town of Clinton: 1. The parks of the Town of Clinton shall be controlled and managed by a Board to be called "The Board ' of Park Management and the provisions of The Public Parks Act are hereby adopted with relation thereto. 2. The . said ,Boarci shall have the general management, regulation and control of all existing parka in the Town of Clinton and of such other lands, parks, avenues, boulevards and drives which may hereafter be acquired and established under the provisions of The Public Parks A'et. 3.
