KNITTERS TAKE FIRST

Knitters ran up an early lead and
took the • measure of the Main St.
boys by a score of 11-7 in a Town
Softball League fixure in the new
Park Monday evening.
The second game in the best two -
of -three series will be played" at
2 p.m. Saturday, in Memorial Park,
with a third game, if necessary,
next week.

inning, Leppington, was safe at first

home, followed by Glew, Ross and
White, all of whom had hit safely,
making the count 6-2. •
