Stanley isthe only son -of Mr. and
Mrs: Amos Ball,: do the Baseline: He
'was born on the father's farm and
attended' 5. 3. N. 9 Hullett. He
assisted his father with 'the ' farm
work until June 4, 1941, when he
• enlisted at Clinton. He received his
training at London, Montreal and
Debert, N. S., proceeding overseas.
on Aug. 9, 1942, with the ,Royal
Canadian Army Service Corps:
Stanley served in France, Belgium,
' Holland and Germany!.
He has three sisters, Mrs. Harold
Stanbury (Vernice) of the Baseline,
Roxie and Maxine Ball at home.
Graham returned home Monday,
after over two years of service with
`' the Canadian Army overseas. He
was met at London by his little three
year old son Bobby, his mother, Mrs,
Robert Chamney • and his brother

brook, and spent the greater part of
life there, although was occupied as
bus driver at the time of enlisting.
He was bereaved byi the death three
weeks ago, of his wife, formerly
Lorraine, Hamilton, of Bluevale. He
has besides his parents and little son,
four brothers and one sister: Elwin
• of Wingham, Herman of Windsor,
Stewart and Gordon at home, and A large gathering ` met in Grace
(Verna) Mrs. Ernest Deer, of Nia- United church basement at Porter's

in Europe". The meeting was closed
-with the Lord's 'Prayer and the
National Anthem. Lunch was served
by Mrs. Ross and. Mrs. Stoltz.
The B. Y. • P- U. met Sunday after-
noon with Glen Raithby in charge.
'. Frank Raithby offered prayer, and
this followed, by lihe. following pro-

Breckow, Goderich, vocal solo, Jerry

a half hour of thanksgiving service,
after which Jas. Stirling took over

sung in opening, followed by Psalms
19 being read responsively. Mrs. E.
Potter read an article on Italian
work in Montreal.
The roll call and minutes of the
last meeting were read by the Secre-
tary, also a letter of thanks.
Mrs. E. Potter favored with a solo.
Mrs. W. Teo read, missionary
story of the -work amoii the Indians.
