Dog Owners, Attention
It has long been an established
fact that a dog is man's best friend
and a boy's most devoted playmate.
Unfortunately, in come 'sections'
of our fair town- a few •dogs, are
causing undue annoyances to citi-
zens by barking at, and • chasing
tradespeople who use horses or
bicycles to deliver daily •necessities.
In other instances -gardeners com-
plain of damage done to tender
plants by dogs running at will
through garden -plots.

Some Ontario towns have con-
sidered it necessary to have a law
passed causing all dogs to be tied up
during the summer- months. As the
deg is by nature, a freedom -loving
animal it hardly seems fair to make
all dogs suffer for, the sine of a
few. Any' dog, no matter how well
trained, is prone to copy the- all
manners of his canine pals. There-,
fore it is necessary that you see that
your :dog minds -his manners and.
does not annoy anyone. If you do
this we feel sure that a dog curfew
will not be necessary in Clinton.
