Creamery; Butter Prices Effective May 1 adjustments will be made in butter prices so that ceilings will be more uniform. Ac- cording to an announcement by the Wartime Prices and Trade Board the new regulations will provide whole- salers and mantifacturers with uni- form mark-ups rather than the pre- sent method of using rigid basic period price levels. Board officials emphasiiedethat the order is a re- distribution of price spreads, raising the ,price slightly in some case, low- ering #t in ethers. The overall effect, however, will be a more uniform price structure.
