The Woman's Association of Wes-
ley -Willis Church ,,,,met on Thursday
afternoon, April 5th in the church
hall. The President, Mrs, M. Nediger
was in...the chair, Mrs. A. T. Cooper
was pianist.
'The ' opening hymn was "How
firm a foundation". Mrs. Addison
offered prayer and Mrs. Reg Shipley
read the Scriptare lesson, from the'
20th Chapter of St. John's Gospel.
The minutes, and the, treasurer's
reports were read by Mrs. Jefferson.
Mrs. Cree Cook --convenor of the
flower committee reported flowers
and fruit had been sent to six mem-
bers of the' congregation. A number
of letters of thanks were also read. ..
Mrs. Charles Nelson'committee
had -completed: another Red Cross
quilt. Al total of 4 since January.
19 ealls were made by Mrs. Nedi-
ger and Mrs. J. Fraser during March.
A delightful quartette, entitled
"A little talk with Jesus" was sung
by bus' young ladies, wives of
members' of the R.C.A.F., Mrs.
Devereux, Mrs, Meanwell, Mrs. Con-
ron and Mrs. Atkinson, accompanied
An interesting reading "Spring in
the Air" by David Grayson, was
contributed' by Mrs. Sperling.
The singing of "Lord of the lands"
and the Mizpall Benediction, brought
the meeting to a close, after which
afternoon tea was served by Mrs.
Frank Andrews' group.

The Londesboro Red Cross held
their regular meeting on April 5th
'with 17 present. The meeting opened
with repeating the Lord's Prayer
in unison. The minuets of the last
meeting 'were read and adopted. The
Treasurer's report was given. It was
carried that 100 per cent of tee
campaign and County 'Grand. be
cent to beadquarters. Londesboro's
quota was $600, and it was exceed-
ed by $83, 75. It was passed that
we send, $25.00 to the "Steward
Henry" fund in Win.gliam. It was

ley -Willis Church ,,,,met on Thursday
afternoon, April 5th in the church
hall. The President, Mrs, M. Nediger
was in...the chair, Mrs. A. T. Cooper
was pianist.
'The ' opening hymn was "How
firm a foundation". Mrs. Addison
offered prayer and Mrs. Reg Shipley
read the Scriptare lesson, from the'
20th Chapter of St. John's Gospel.
The minutes, and the, treasurer's
reports were read by Mrs. Jefferson.
Mrs. Cree Cook --convenor of the
flower committee reported flowers
and fruit had been sent to six mem-
bers of the' congregation. A number
of letters of thanks were also read. ..
Mrs. Charles Nelson'committee
had -completed: another Red Cross
quilt. Al total of 4 since January.
19 ealls were made by Mrs. Nedi-
ger and Mrs. J. Fraser during March.
A delightful quartette, entitled
"A little talk with Jesus" was sung
by bus' young ladies, wives of
members' of the R.C.A.F., Mrs.
Devereux, Mrs, Meanwell, Mrs. Con-
ron and Mrs. Atkinson, accompanied
An interesting reading "Spring in
the Air" by David Grayson, was
contributed' by Mrs. Sperling.
The singing of "Lord of the lands"
and the Mizpall Benediction, brought
the meeting to a close, after which
afternoon tea was served by Mrs.
Frank Andrews' group.

The Londesboro Red Cross held
their regular meeting on April 5th
'with 17 present. The meeting opened
with repeating the Lord's Prayer
in unison. The minuets of the last
meeting 'were read and adopted. The
Treasurer's report was given. It was
carried that 100 per cent of tee
campaign and County 'Grand. be
cent to beadquarters. Londesboro's
quota was $600, and it was exceed-
ed by $83, 75. It was passed that
we send, $25.00 to the "Steward
Henry" fund in Win.gliam. It was
