Thursday evening'of last week, the tractor belonging to Mr. Henry A1d- 'w]nekle, west of the village of Bruce - field was'brought home as usualfrom the field and stored in theyardjoin- ing lo - m, ing the house and barn, and shortly after 11 p.m. the family preparing to retire, noticed the tractor to be afire. An alarm was sounded and Kenneth Scott was one of the first on the scene, when he quickly put the fire out with chemicals before any great damage was done, outside of the fact that the wiring was all 'burned off and had to be replaced.
