Dangers of Inflation
Growing
One of the great questions of the
day and one of the prince interests of
the government is the fight against
inflation. Indeed it should be the
prime concern of every Canadian.
Aiding the government in its fight
are many concerns and organizations
carrying on educative campaigns by
way of advertising paid out of their
own funds. The first of a new series
of such advertisements, approved by
v under
the government at Ottawa, d
is dollar
the heading "How Much a
Worth?" is sponsored by the Brew-
ing industry of Ontario and was pre-
pared by the Advertising Agency of
Spitzer and Mills, Toronto. •
The construction of the advertise-
ment is most effective in that it takes
a graphic form of presenting the case.
It is indeed a readable appeal that
will leave a lasting impression with
the theme, "Keep Your Dollar Value
High." The "Pledge" proposed is con-
cise and to the point, with an appeal
to buy Victory Bonds and War Sav-
ings Certificates. When the war is
won, people may well look back to
this appeal and pledge and say: "It
has saved me money and it helped
this country."
