Sixth Victory Loan
April 24th to May 13th
Clinton Again Organized to pit Victory Loan Acros
The most important factor contributing to the success of past
Victory Loans' in Clinton has been the unanimous support of Clin-
tonians whether of great or small means. The Sixth Victory Loan.
will be no exception. A. year ago, Clinton—given a quota of $174,000,,:
subscribed $200,900; in the Fifth Victory Loan'our quota of $184,000
was slightly over -subscribed. In this the Sixth Victory Loan our
quota has been placed at $176,000 and our citizens have never yet
fallen below our quota or fair share in any war effort, Too many.
of the lives of our men and women in the army, navy and the air-
force are att
s alte to even permit us to think of failure to help pro-
vide the abundance of what they need to achieve victory. Our job
at home is to produce—and pay for what we make and ship. With
our dollars, we can help to pass the ammunition to our boys, we
in every forward line. Chairman McMurray is again in harness, , in
charge of Clinton's
local
sales team, and't
wrhH.
E. Rorke and Gordon
Scribbins will again be making personal contact in Clinton. Let use
all remember that it is not enough.,to convert what we can spare
into Victory Bond's, By confining our purchases to strict necessities,
we can and must buy an extra bond. Let us save more—lend more. -
and let us really "PUT VICTOR?' FIRST", and hold the line on the
"HOME' FRONT" as do the boys on the "BATTLE' FRONT"
BUY VICTORY BONDS.
