OBITUARY
MRS. MYRTLE EMILY McBRIDE
It was with a distinct sense of shock
that the citizens of Clinton and dis-
trict received word of the passing of
Myrtle Armstrong, wife of Lorne R.
McBride of 1252 Moy Avenue, Wind-
sor, Ontario, on Thursday, February
the third.
Mrs McBride was born in Stanley
Township, and was the daughter of
the late Robert and Emily Armstrong.
From early childhood slie was a resi-
dent of Clinton, and received her edu-
cation in the ClintonPublic School
and Collegiate Institute. After gradu-
ation at Stratford Normal School, fol-
lowed her profession as a teacher.
For thirteen years she instructed the
youth of Clinton in the Public School,
where her ability and sterling charact-
er made a decided impression on the
lives and characters of those who
were placed in her charge.
After her marriage she took up

died Sunday, January 30th, in Hines
Hospital at the age of 67, was held at
