Mothers' Club Holds
Delightful Gathering
(Contributed)
The Ootaber meeting of the Mo
there' Club of Wesley -Willis United
Church was very typical of all euoh
past meetings,„The same cordial
greeting of "Cul to in and be one of
us" atmosphere was kindly extended
by •Mrs. B. B. Pocklington in whose
home this meeting 'was held. The
gathering together at such times for
a group of forward-looking mothers
(some 80 in all) tends toward better-
ment of family ;conditions in home,
ehureh and community. Further the
club has no place for clannishness
or cliques, It, works as a whole for-
getting petty likes and dislikes and
thus this church movement will 'ac-
complish its purrpose.
With Mrs. A. Griffiths conducting
a well-planned program, devotional,
diseussional and social, a very profit-
able evening was enjoyed by all. Min-
utes of the September meeting were
read by Mrs. A. E. Douglas,
Tit was unanimously agreed to in-
yite the •WMS of the church to the
club's regular meeting in November.
The club decided to hold the annual
Christmas party for the haft,•', Band
and Mothers' Club, as eusteniary.
Further plans for this will be com-
pleted at the November meeting.
After a bountiful lunch served by
the hostess, the meeting 'adjourned
feeling, as 'always, that that Was
"the best ever".

Mothers' Club Holds
Delightful Gathering
(Contributed)
The Ootaber meeting of the Mo
there' Club of Wesley -Willis United
Church was very typical of all euoh
past meetings,„The same cordial
greeting of "Cul to in and be one of
us" atmosphere was kindly extended
by •Mrs. B. B. Pocklington in whose
home this meeting 'was held. The
gathering together at such times for
a group of forward-looking mothers
(some 80 in all) tends toward better-
ment of family ;conditions in home,
ehureh and community. Further the
club has no place for clannishness
or cliques, It, works as a whole for-
getting petty likes and dislikes and
thus this church movement will 'ac-
complish its purrpose.
With Mrs. A. Griffiths conducting
a well-planned program, devotional,
diseussional and social, a very profit-
able evening was enjoyed by all. Min-
utes of the September meeting were
read by Mrs. A. E. Douglas,
Tit was unanimously agreed to in-
yite the •WMS of the church to the
club's regular meeting in November.
The club decided to hold the annual
Christmas party for the haft,•', Band
and Mothers' Club, as eusteniary.
Further plans for this will be com-
pleted at the November meeting.
After a bountiful lunch served by
the hostess, the meeting 'adjourned
feeling, as 'always, that that Was
"the best ever".
