Both morning and evening ,services were conducted by Rev. G. P. Parson, St. Marys, with Squadron Leader T. Dale , Jones, Protestant chaplain at RCAF Station ,Clinton, assisting, Special music was rendered by the choir, and the church was very ap- propriately decorated with fruit and, vegetables in true harvest home fast„ Son. k Dr. Cordy remarked that the last ,time he had visited Clinton was when he was Minister of Education and spoke in the Collegiate Institute. He recalled that in 1874-75, the rector of this famous ,parish was :Rev. Tho- mas 'Cutler DesBarres, who was his immediate predecessor at St. PauI's, Toronto. P., Huron, were also present. a very kind husband and very good to his family and his parsing will be missed in his home, and by his re- latives, and a wide circle' of friends; ' Deceased pasted away in Victoria Hospital, London, October 6, follow- ing- an operation. A resident of Hen - sail for 54 years he was born in Stan- ley Township, and was in, his 77th year. Up until two weeks before his death when he was taken to hospital, he was busily engaged in his daily duties and a .familiar figure on the street.
