Aimwell Mission Circle
The Aimwell, Mise'jon Circle held
their regular monthly meeting on
Tuesday evening, August 12, at the
home, or Miss Bette Brunsdon .with
the .president, Mrs. John Pipe, pre-
siding. The meeting opened by •s'ing-
ing hymn 148. The Worship Service
was taken by Edith Beacom and Ruth
Pipe.: Alice ]+ingland gave a Christ-
ian
,Stewardship, reading. The bus-
iness was then discussed and Ruth
Vincent a+ead a missionary story.
Thelma Shebibrook payed an instrn.-
Mental while the offering was being
taken. The meeting closed by sing-
ing hymn 681 and :all repeating the
benediction. The hostess then served
a very delicious lunch,

ing Hymn 95,
The meeting of the W. A. followed
with bhe president, Mrs. Bond, pre
siding. Hymn 284 was sung and pray-
er was offered by Mrs, Bond.
The minnutes of t'he last meeting
were read •by Mrs. Mulholland in the
absence of the secretary. A business
perisd consisted of plans for. a quilt-
ing, decorating of the church, and
the annual bazaar to be bald, October
25, to Clinton Town Hall.
A picnic lunch en the lawn served
by Mrs. Bond and Mis. Corran was
enjoyed •by all.

Ladies' Club Meets
The August meeting of .Suanenerhill
Ladies' Club was held Wednesday af-
terpoon, August 13, at the hams of
Mrs. Norman Wright. The meeting
opened by everyone repenting the
Lord's Prayer in unison.
The minutes of the previews meet-
ing were read and approved.. Roll
call was answered by each member
giving her maiden name. After the
business discussion, Mrs. Robert
Smith gave a reading "Pa in his spot
of trouble", and 'Mrs. William Mer-
triil clue gave a reading, 'SSpeak
Gently".
The programme committee ,for the
next meeting will be Mos, Ellis, Mrs.
Penfound, Mrs. 0: Rapson and Mrs.
Lovett. Those responsible for the
