followed in .Gitoton Cemetery. Pall-
bearers were W. M. Aiken, H. C.
Lawson, N.' W. Trewartha, C. D.
Connelly J. T. ,McKnight, and W. J.

Dale, William Knox, Jr., Alvin Dale,
Arnold Dale, Leonard McKnight,
Robert Miller.
Mr. Miller was 'born in H•ullett•
Township, 0crtober 9, 1861, a son of
the late John !Miller and Elizabeth
Arthur.
For a umbel; of years he farmed
on the 3rd concession of Hallett and
moved to Clinton in 1910. He con-
ducted a coal boe40eses until his re-
tirement .in 1927.
For several years he served the
Town of Clinton 'as councillor and
was reeve from 1920-1923. In re-
ligion he was Methodist, later United
Church, being a member of Ontario
St. Unitecl'Ghnroh. He alwe4os had been
keenly interested in the affairs 'el
his church and was always willing
to I:end his aid in this capacity when
able. He served for quite a number
of years as a member of the Official
Board and a member of the Session.
In spite of his advanced years, My.
Miller had known fairly good health

marriage to Emma Le -viva Dale who
predeceased him on .May 13, 1936.
Surviving are one sister, Miss'
