Judd Named Winners From Softball Convener Music Edwin C. "Red" Judd, Clinton, was named convener of the Huron' County, senior softball group of the V4'estern On7itel° Athletic Association at a meeting held in Wingham Town Hall last eventing, attended' by repre- sentatives of the ' various softball clubs in the Association. He was the nominee of the Clinton Riohwear' Softball Club. Entries were received from the following teams: Wiughann, Goderioh, Clinton Itliohwears, Seaforth, Exeter and Centralia RCAF. It was a sur prise that Clinton RCAF did not en- ter, las this !elu(h played, bast ,year. Listowel and 'Milverton were refused entry to •the group bemuse of dis- tance. ' It was decided that representa- tives of the six teams' ill the group would eget down bo schedule drawing' at a meeting in 'Clinton tomorrow (Friday) evening •at. •eight o'clock.
