The many friends of Mac, D. A.
Volume who suffered a slight par-
alytic stroke and was taken to Clin-
ton Puiblic Hospital, wish her a
speedy recovery. Mao, Volume was
found to be SII in bed when friends
called at her home "Blinkbonnie" on
Sunday afternoon.

ed by the Goderioh Township soft-
ball club .in SS. No. 5, Friday even-

boxes which realized good prices.

The W.A. of Grace Church held
the regular sheeting on Thursday,
May 8, at the :home of Mac. Stewart-
,Soheenhals. The president, Mrs.
Les Cox, ,opened the meeting with
the hymn', "What a Friend we have
in Jesus" Mrs. Austin Harris gave
the !Scripture reading, meter which
all joined in repeating the Lor'd's
Prayer. Mas. James Lockhart gave
a paper on the life of the author of
the opening blyann. Some business
matters were discussed. The date
set for bazaar is 'S'eptember 6. All
those serving on Past year's com-
mittees were asked to take over
again this year's bazaar work. A
latter of thanks Was read from two
receiving flowers while in hospital.
Mrs. A. Lockhart is to have the June
meeting. A very delicious lunch
was enjoyed.
